Brock Badgers were well represented in the women’s collegiate four event at the Head of the Charles Regatta with a 6th place finish out of a field of 36 entries. Only 1.1 seconds separated the Badgers from third place in a 19 minute race. The crew of Lizzie Fuller, Taylor Issepon, Lauren Piedl, Anike Vanagas and coxswain Andrea Jansen were the only Brock crew to race Saturday. Andrea felt they had great race from start to finish only being held up a little as four crews tried to squeeze through Weeks bridge. Now they will get ready to race next Saturday at the Ontario University Rowing Championships hosted by Brock.
Sunday three more Badger crews will race in the Women’s light four, Men’s light four and the Men’s Championship eight.
